This newly formed Jazz Ensemble, is the brainchild of the three WJCC high school music directors and is made up of the best instrumentalists from each of the high schools. Although the group is newly formed, it has set a very lofty goal for itself and that is to compete in the Essentially Ellington competition held annually in New York. Participation in the Jazz Band is voluntary. Please see Mr. Fary for more details.
Jazz Band assessment takes place in April and WJCC Jazz night is held in June.
